Fourteen Robocontestants
These fourteen are preview from the 100 robot contestant entries. The contest it self is fictitious. I drew all the robots to fill in pages in one of my first thematic sketchbooks. Later on scanned and posted on my flickr they became a collaborative materials. My contacts started claiming and adopting the robot with a given names. I prepared a nice print of robots adopted and sent to the owners, in return they post picture of them with the prints. Some create derivative art or new art inspired by their robots.
